LINCOLN COUNTY LAWYER TRANSFERRED TO DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS

On April 25, 2011, Terry Lance Carter of Lincoln County, Tennessee, was transferred to disability

inactive status by the Tennessee Supreme Court pursuant to Rule 9, Section 21.3 of the Rules of the Supreme

Court for an indefinite period of time and until further orders of the Supreme Court.

A Petition for Transfer to Disability Inactive Status was filed by the Board of Professional

Responsibility on April 21, 2011. Mr. Carter cannot practice law while on disability inactive status. Mr. Carter

can return to the practice of law only after reinstatement by order of the Supreme Court.
