WILLIAMSON COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED
On October 19, 2009, William Warren Leech, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee,
received a Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
On October 8, 2007, Leechâs law license was temporarily suspended, and on May 13, 2008, his law
license was suspended for one year. However, Leech failed to inform his client that his law license had been
suspended, and he was unable to complete the clientâs case. Also, Leech failed to return his clientâs file until
May 27, 2008, after the filing of the disciplinary complaint.
By the aforementioned facts, William Warren Leech, has violated Supreme Court Rule 9, § 18.1 and
Rule of Professional Conduct 1.16(d) and is hereby Publicly Censured for these violations.
