RIDGELY ATTORNEY TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

On May 1, 2006, the Supreme Court of Tennessee issued an Order summarily and
temporarily suspending Guy S. Davis’ license to practice law, upon finding that Mr. Davis had
failed to answer a complaint filed with the Board of Professional Responsibility. Section 4.3 of
Supreme Court Rule 9 provides for the immediate summary suspension of an attorney’s license
to practice law in cases where the attorney fails to respond to the Board of Professional
Responsibility. Disciplinary Counsel filed a Petition with the Supreme Court alleging that Mr.
Davis had failed to respond to a complaint filed with the Board of Professional Responsibility.

The May 1, 2006 Order precludes Mr. Davis from accepting any new cases
effective May 1, 2006. Mr. Davis must cease representing existing clients effective May 31,
2006. After May 31, 2006, Mr. Davis shall not use any indicia of lawyer, legal assistant or law
clerk nor maintain a presence where the practice of law is conducted.

The Order requires Mr. Davis to notify by registered or certified mail all clients
being represented in pending matters, as well as co-counsel and opposing counsel of the
Supreme Court’s Order suspending his law license. Section 18 of Supreme Court Rule 9
requires Mr. Davis to deliver to all clients any papers or property to which they are entitled.

This suspension remains in effect until dissolution or modification by the
Supreme Court. Mr. Davis may for good cause request dissolution or modification of this
suspension by petition to the Supreme Court.
