MEMPHIS LAWYER REINSTATED TO THE PRACTICE OF LAW

On November 21, 2006, the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered an Order reinstating John L.
Ryan to the practice of law. On July 7, 2005, a Hearing Panel heard the Petitioner’s Petition for Reinstatement.
On September 26, 2005, the Hearing Panel filed its Order with the Board of Professional Responsibility
recommending the reinstatement of the Petitioner with the requirement that Petitioner take and pass the
Tennessee Bar Exam; that the Petitioner be monitored for a period of three (3) years with reports to the Board of
Professional Responsibility semi-annually as well as immediate reports to the Board of any substantial
non-compliance; that Petitioner submit to random drug screens through the Justice Network for a period of three
(3) years from the date of reinstatement; and that the Petitioner pay $2,296.22 which were the costs of his prior
disciplinary suspension proceeding.

On November 21, 2006, the Tennessee Supreme Court entered an Order approving the Hearing
Panel Order and entered it reinstating John L. Ryan to the practice of law having successfully completed the
