DAVIDSON COUNTY LAWYER SUSPENDED
Erica May Lotz, of Nashville, Tennessee was suspended by Order of Reciprocal Discipline entered by
the Supreme Court of Tennessee on December 20, 2019, consistent with the discipline entered by the Supreme
Court of Louisiana. On September 17, 2019, the Supreme Court of Louisiana suspended Ms. Lotz from the
practice of law for a period of one year and one day, with all but thirty day of the suspension deferred, followed
by a two-year period of unsupervised probation.
Ms. Lotz may not return to the practice of law in Tennessee until an order of reinstatement is entered by
the Supreme Court of Tennessee and must comply with the requirements of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9,
Sections 28 and 30.4, regarding the obligations and responsibilities of suspended attorneys. Ms. Lotz must pay
the Boardâs costs and expenses and the court costs within ninety (90) days of December 20, 2019.
