SEVIER COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED
By Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court entered March 22, 2024, James Ralph Hickman, Jr., was
reinstated to the active practice of law conditioned upon engagement of a practice monitor and continued
compliance with the terms and conditions of the Judgment entered June 30, 2023.
On June 30, 2023, Mr. Hickman was suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee for one (1) year with
six (6) months to be served as an active suspension. Mr. Hickman filed a Petition for Reinstatement pursuant to
Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 30.4(c), on February 15, 2024. The Board found the Petition was
satisfactory and submitted an Order of Reinstatement to the Court.
