ORDER OF ENFORCEMENT
This matter is before the Court upon a Petition for Discipline filed against Roger
David Hyman on November 13, 2020; upon Mr. Hymanâs Response to Petition for
Discipline filed January 5, 2021; upon a Conditional Guilty Plea filed by Mr. Hyman on
October 16, 2024; upon the Hearing Panelâs Order Recommending Approval of
Conditional Guilty Plea entered October 16, 2024; upon the Executive Secretaryâs October
16, 2024 service via email of the Order Recommending Approval of Conditional Guilty
Plea upon the parties; upon consideration and approval by the Board of Professional
Responsibility on December 13, 2024; and upon the entire record in this cause.
From all of which the Court approves the Order of the Hearing Panel and adopts the
Order Recommending Approval of Conditional Guilty Plea as the Courtâs Order.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED
BY THE COURT THAT:
(1) Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 12.4 (2014), Roger David Hyman is hereby
publicly censured.
(2) Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 31.3(d), Mr. Hyman shall pay to the Board
of Professional Responsibility the expenses and costs incurred to date by the Board in this
matter in the amount of $1,765.00, which includes a $100.00 assessment for the cost of
filing this matter, and shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the court costs incurred herein.
All costs, fees, and expenses awarded or assessed herein shall be paid within ninety (90)
days of the entry of this Order for which execution, if necessary, may issue.
(3) The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this discipline
to be published.
(4) Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.1, this Order shall be effective upon
entry.
