Public censure on December 29, 1983. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in
Criminal Court which resulted from a head-on automobile collision wherein he was intoxicated.
Lane was seriously injured and he personally exhausted his assets to pay in excess of his
insurance limits to satisfy the claims resulting from the accident.
