PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was filed against C. Coclter Gilbert, an attorney licensed to practice

law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, the Board

of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on June 22, 2012.

Respondent Was suspended by the Tennessee Supreme Court for CLE noncompliance

and practiced law 'for two months while his license was suspended. This constituted

unauthorized practice of law. After he completed the CLE, his license Was reinstated.

By the aforementioned acts, C. Conifer Gilbert, has violated Rule of Professional

Conduct 5.5 (unauthorized practice of law) antl is hereby Publicly Censored for this violation.
