RUTHERFORD COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED
On February 20, 2026, the Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated Dalen L.P. Farmer to the active practice
of law.
On January 22, 2026, Mr. Farmer was temporarily suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee for
failing to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility concerning a complaint of misconduct. Mr. Farmer
filed a Petition for Dissolution pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 12.3 on February 12, 2026,
demonstrating he had responded to the disciplinary complaint and complied with the conditions imposed by the
Order of Temporary Suspension. The Board filed a response acknowledging the Petition was satisfactory and
submitted an Order of Reinstatement to the Court.
