CARTHAGE ATTORNEY REINSTATED
By Order of the Supreme Court entered on June 30, 2010, Jacquelyn M. Scott has been reinstated to the
practice of law. Ms. Scott was suspended from the practice of law on April 22, 2009. Ms. Scott filed a Petition
for Reinstatement on December 8, 2009. By Judgment filed on May 13, 2010, a Hearing Panel concluded that
Ms. Scott’s license to practice law should be reinstated. The Supreme Court determined that the judgment of
the Hearing Panel reinstating Ms. Scott’s license was appropriate, based upon proof that Ms. Scott has the moral
qualifications, competency and learning in the law required For admission to practice law and that her
resumption of the practice of law will not be detrimental to the integrity or standing of the bar or the
administration ofjustice, or subversive to the public interest.

Ms. Scott’s reinstatement will become effective ten (10) days after the filing of the Order.

ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT

Petitioner Jacqueline M. Scott, (“Petitioner”) was suspended from the practice of
law by order entered April 22, 2009. This matter is before the Court upon a Petition for
Reinstatement filed on December 8, 2009; upon a Response to Petition For Reinstatement
filed by the Board of Professional Responsibility (the “Board”) on December 21, 2009;
upon a hearing held on May 4, 2010; upon the Judgment of the Hearing Panel entered on
May 13, 2010; and upon the entire record in this case.

From all of which it appears to the Courtthat-the judgment of the Hearing Panel
reinstating Petitioner’s license to practice law is appropriate, based upon proof that
Petitioner has the moral qualifications, competency and learning in the law required for
admission to practice law in this state and that the resumption of the practice of law
Within the state will not be detrimental to the integrity and standing of the bar or the
administration ofjustice, or subversive to the public interest.

It is therefore, ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED by the Court: that:

1. Petitioner, Jacqueline M. Scott, is hereby reinstated to the practice of law.

2. Petitioner’s reinstatement shall become effective ten (10) days after the
filing of this Order.

3. The Board shall cause notice of this reinstatement to be published as
required by Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 18.10.
