SEVIERVILLE LAWYER SUSPENDED
Ronald R. Reagan, a Sevierville lawyer, was summarily suspended from the practice of law by the
Tennessee Supreme Court on September 12, 2008. Mr. Reagan pled guilty to a serious crime, possession of a
computer hard drive containing three (3) or more visual depictions of child pornography which was shipped via
interstate commerce on July 24, 2008. Mr. Reagan filed a Petition to Surrender his law license with the
Tennessee Supreme Court. By Order, filed September 12, 2008, the Tennessee Supreme Court denied Mr.
Reaganâs Petition to Surrender Law License and referred the matter to the Board of Professional Responsibility
for the institution of a formal proceeding based upon Mr. Reaganâs conviction by the guilty plea.
Mr. Reagan shall comply with the requirements of Section 18 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court,
regarding the obligations and responsibilities of suspended attorneys.
