PULASKI ATTORNEY DISBARRED

On January 6, 2007, Keith R. Peterson, formerly of Pulaski, Tennessee, was disbarred by the
Tennessee Supreme Court.

On January 10, 2006, the Tennessee Supreme Court temporarily suspended Peterson for failing
to respond to a complaint. On March 27, 2006, the Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for
Discipline against Peterson based upon three (3) complaints alleging that Peterson had abandoned his practice.
On June 26, 2006, the Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Supplemental Petition for Discipline against
Peterson based upon two (2) additional complaints alleging Peterson’s neglect of clients’ cases, failure to
communicate with his clients and the Board and abandonment of his practice. Peterson failed to make any
response to the Board’s charges against him. On October 12, 2006, a Hearing Panel filed its Findings and
Judgment recommending Peterson be disbarred. On January 6, 2007, the Tennessee Supreme Court entered an
Order disbarring Peterson.

Peterson’s disciplinary case was held pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 9. In Tennessee,
disbarred lawyer may after five (5) years apply for reinstatement of their law licenses. However, to be
reinstated, Peterson must show by clear and convincing evidence that his reinstatement will not be detrimental
to the integrity and standing of the bar or the administration of justice or subversive to the public interest.
