DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS OF DAVIDSON COUNTY LAWYER REMOVED
On March 6, 2026, the Tennessee Supreme Court issued an Order removing the disability inactive status
of Sornavidya Saba Sankar. On August 8, 2025, the Supreme Court entered an Order transferring Ms. Sankar to
disability inactive status.
Although the disability inactive status has been removed, the Court noted that Ms. Sankar shall remain on
inactive status pending resolution of any disciplinary proceedings. Ms. Sankar is required to pay the expenses of
her reinstatement proceeding, if any, to the Court.
