ORDER TRANSFERRING ATTORNEY TO
DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS

This matter is before the Court upon a petition to transfer John Paul Doyle to
disability inactive status filed by the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.4.

Upon due consideration of medical documentation from Mr. Doyle’s treating
physician, the Court concludes that Mr. Doyle is currently incapacitated from continuing
the practice of law and defending against the pending investigation in File No. 60343-4-
PS.

IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:

1. The law license of John Paul Doyle shall be transferred to disability
inactive status for an indefinite period of time and until further orders of the Supreme
Court.

2. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, Section 27.4(b), the pending investigation,
File No. 60343-4-PS, is suspended indefinitely until Mr. Doyle is removed from
disability inactive status.

3. Mr. Doyle shall be allowed to petition for reinstatement to active status
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7.

4. The Board shall publish notice of this transfer pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, §§ 27.5 and 28.11.

5. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 32.4, documents other than this Order
relating to Mr. Doyle’s disability proceeding shall not be public records and shall be kept
confidential.
