Suspended for one (1) year by order entered August 13, 2001. She neglected her client's case;
charged an excessive fee; failed to withdraw from her client's case but abandoned his cause of
action; failed to refund his fee paid in advance that had not been earned; and failed to adequately
communicate with her client. An aggravating factor in the case was that Ms Short-Bohannon
engaged in a bad faith obstruction of the disciplinary proceedings by intentionally failing to
comply with rules and orders of the disciplinary agency.
