On January 19, 2010, Bradley Glenn Kirk, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Mr. Kirkâs actual representation of his client did not run afoul of the Rules of Professional Conduct.
However, when Mr. Kirk sought to withdraw from representing his client in a federal civil rights case, he
violated Rule 1.6 by divulging confidential information about his client in his affidavit.
Bradley Glenn Kirk violated Rule of Professional Conduct 1.6 (confidentiality). For this violation, the
Board of Professional Responsibility publicly censures Bradley Glenn Kirk. A public censure is a rebuke and
warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to practice law.
