SHELBY COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED
On October 29, 2019, the Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated Clay M. McCormack to the active
practice of law subject to certain conditions. Mr. McCormack had been suspended by the Supreme Court of
Tennessee on October 5, 2018, for a period of five (5) years, with one (1) year served on active suspension
and the remaining four (4) years on probation, pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 12.2.
Mr. McCormack filed a Petition for Reinstatement to the practice of law pursuant to Tennessee Supreme
Court Rule 9, Section 30.4c. The Board found the Petition satisfactory and submitted an Order of
Reinstatement to the Court.
