ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This matter is before the Court, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7, upon a
Petition for Reinstatement to Active Status filed on November 15, 2019, by the
Petitioner, Michael Leonard Underhill. Mr. Underhill’s law license was moved to
disability inactive status by Order of this Court entered September 12, 2018. The Board
of Professional Responsibility’s Response to the Petition for Reinstatement to Active
Status was filed on December 3, 2019 noting no objection to the Petition for
Reinstatement.
From all of which the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE
COURT THAT:
1.
The Petitioner, Michael Leonard Underhill, is hereby reinstated to the
practice of law in the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7(b).
2.
Mr. Underhill shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein
within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for all of which execution may issue if
necessary.
3.
The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
