ORDER OF TEMPORARY SUSPENSION
This matter is before the Court on a Petition of the Board of Professional
Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, by and through Disciplinary Counsel,
for the temporary suspension of David J. Johnson from the practice of law, pursuant to
Section 4.3 of Supreme Court Rule 9. The Petition has been authorized by the Chair of
the Board of Professional Responsibility and is supported by the afï¬davits of Elizabeth
C. Garber, Disciplinary Counsel, Matthew J. McDonald, and Dr. Alan Michael Alabaster.
Based upon the Petition, and the supporting Afï¬davits, the Court ï¬nds that David
J. Johnsonâs continued practice of law poses a threat of substantial harm to the public.
It is therefore, ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED by the Court that:
1. David J. Johnson is hereby temporarily suspended from the practice of law
as provided in Section 4.3 of Supreme Court Rule 9.
2. David J. Johnson shall comply with Supreme Court Rule 9 in all respects,
and particularly as provided in Section 18.
3. David J. Johnson may make application for dissolution or modiï¬cation of
this Order as provided in Supreme Court Rule -9.
4. The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
suspension of David J. Johnson to be published as required by Supreme Court Rule 9.
