NASHVILLE ATTORNEY CENSURED

On October 17, 2006, Charles W. Cross of Nashville, Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Tennessee Supreme Court. The Censure was based upon Cross
entering a Conditional Guilty Plea to a Petition for Discipline filed by the Board of Professional
Responsibility against Cross. Cross neglected a client’s case and failed to communicate with his
client in violation of Rules 1.3, 1.4, 1.16 and 8.4(a)(b) of the Tennessee Rules of Professional
Conduct. Cross, through counsel, agreed to accept a Public Censure to resolve the Board’s
formal disciplinary charges. The Censure declares Cross’ actions to be improper ethical conduct
but does not limit Cross’ right to practice law.
