KNOX COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED
On June 28, 2013, Chadwick Barry Tindell, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Mr. Tindell pled guilty to facilitation of official misconduct. The conviction was based on Mr. Tindellâs
involvement in the Knox County Trustee giving employees unauthorized bonuses. Thus, his conduct violated
Rule 8.4(b) because the criminal act adversely reflected on his honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer in
other respects.
By these acts, Mr. Tindell, has violated Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(b) (misconduct) and is hereby
Publicly Censured for this violation. A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not
affect the attorneyâs ability to practice law.
