Public censure by order entered October 5, 1987. He represented a criminal defendant and after
his client's conviction, he failed to communicate adequately to his client the legal consequences
of failing to file a motion for a new trial. In another matter, he accepted over $2,000 to possibly
pay off some bad checks his client had been charged with passing. He did not deposit the money
in his escrow account as required. He also neglected the case and did not communicate
adequately with his client.
