ORDER TRANSFERRING ATTORNEY TO
DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
This matter is before the Court upon the Petition for Transfer to Disability Inactive
Status ï¬led by the Board of Professional Responsibility, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,
§ 27.3.
Upon due consideration of medical documentation submitted by Srilatha
Chilukuri, M.D.,' the Court concludes that John Albert Walker, Jr. is currently
incapacitated from continuing the practice of law.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE
COURT THAT:
1. The law license of John Albert Walker, Jr. shall be transferred to disability
inactive status for an indeï¬nite period of time and until further orders of the Supreme
Court.
2. Mr. Walker shall be allowed to petition for reinstatement to active status
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7(a).
3. The Board shall publish notice of this transfer pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, § 27 .5.
4. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 32.4, documents other than this Order
relating to Mr. Walkerâs disability proceeding shall not be public record and shall be kept
conï¬dential.
