ORDER OF ENFORCEMENT

This matter is before the Court upon a Petition for Discipline filed on April 28,
2011 by the Board of Professional Responsibility (“Board”) against Tony Lawrence
Maples; upon a Motion for Default Judgment and That Allegations in the Petition Be
Deemed Admitted filed by the Board on May 16, 2011; upon an Order of Default entered
by the Hearing Panel on July 18, 2011; upon a hearing held on September 27, 2011; upon
a Judgment entered by the Hearing Panel on October 7, 2011; upon service of the
Judgment on Mr. Maples sent by the Board on October 10, 2011; upon consideration and
approval by the Board on October 20, 2011; upon expiration of the time to appeal with no
appeal taken; and upon the entire record in this cause.

From all of which the Court approves the Judgment of the Hearing Panel and
adopts the Judgment of the Hearing Panel as the Court’s Order.

By Order entered on February 14, 2011, in Case No. M2011—00304~SC~BPO-BP,
Mr. Maples was disbarred from the practice of law. Further, Mr. Maples was suspended
for OLE noncompliance on September 3, 2010 and suspended f01 failing to pay his
professional privilege tax on December 3, 2010 To date Mr. Maples has not 1',equested
nor been g1anted reinstatement

It is therefore, ordered, adjudged, and decreed by the Court that:

1. Tany Lawrence Maples shall be and is hereby disbarred freon the
practice of law pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 4.1.

2. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 4.7, Mr. Maples shall pay
restitution to Lagantrie Hickman in the amount of $1,532.00. Mr. Maples 'shall
pay restitution to Leanne Adams in the amount of $3,000.00 as a refund of
legal fees. Additionally, Mr. Maples shall pay $10,000.00 to Ms. Adams as a
result of the default judgment taken against her including any post-judgment
interest or penalties necessary to absolve Ms. Adams of liability in her
underlying civil matter. Restitution shall be a condition precedent to
reinstatement.

3. As a further condition precedent to reinstatement, Mr. Maples must
submit to an evaluation with the Tennessee Lawyer’s Assistance Program.

4-. This ldis‘barment shall become effective ten (10) days after the filing
of this Order.

5. Mr. Maples shall comply in all aspects with Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, §§
18 8c 19 regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys
and the procedure for reinstatement.

6. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 24.3, Mr. Maples shall pay .to the
Board of Professional Responsibility the expenses and costs of this matter in
' the amount of $346.67 and in addition, shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the
costs incurred herein, within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for all
of which execution may issue if necessary.

'7. The Board shall cause notice of this disharment to be published as
required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 18.10.
