JUDGMENT
This case was heard upon the record on appeal from the Shelby County Chancery
Court, briefs and argument of counsel; and upon consideration thereof, this Court is of the
opinion that the judgment of the trial court that George E. Skouteris, Jr. be disbarred from
the practice of law is affirmed.
In accordance with the opinion filed herein, it is, therefore, ordered and adjudged that
the judgment of the Shelby County Chancery Court is affirmed. Accordingly, it is, therefore,
ordered and adjudged that George E. Skouteris, Jr. be disbarred from the practice of law in
the State of Tennessee.
It is further ordered that, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 24.3, George E. Skouteris,
Jr. shall pay to the Board of Professional Responsibility the expenses and costs of this matter
and, in addition, shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs herein, for all of which
execution may issue if necessary.
It is further ordered that the Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice
of this discipline to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 18.10.
It is further ordered that George E. Skouteris, Jr. shall comply in all respects with
Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 18, including the obligation, within ten (10) days from the date of the
entry of this order, to file an affidavit with the Board of Professional Responsibility showing
that he has complied with all the requirements of Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 18. Any future
requests to resume the practice of law in Tennessee shall be governed by the provisions of
Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 30 (2014).
