Suspended for two (2) years by order entered June 28, 2001. He filed a false statement under
oath that he was licensed to practice law in Tennessee, when he had been placed on inactive
status and the Supreme Court had refused his petition to be reinstated. He was further engaged
in the unauthorized practice of law by representing a client in a domestic violence case in which
he incorrectly influenced that client to plead guilty. She was later acquitted.
