TENNESSEE ATTORNEY SUSPENDED
On March 6, 2006, the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered an Order suspending Kerry
Lee Prisock from the practice of law in Tennessee for a term of eighteen (18) months, concurrent
with Respondentâs suspension in the State of Mississippi, effective June 28, 1994.
The Tennessee Supreme Court further ordered âBecause the suspension we impose is for
one year or more, if Respondent wishes to practice law again in the State of Tennessee, he must
apply to this Court for reinstatement pursuant to Section 19.1 of Rule 9 of the Rules of the
Tennessee Supreme Court.
The Court further ordered pursuant to Section 4.2 of Rule 9 of the Rules of the Tennessee
Supreme Court, that should Respondent apply for reinstatement, Respondent must demonstrate
proof of rehabilitation and that this Court may consider compliance with the conditions imposed
upon Respondent for reinstatement in Mississippi as evidence of Respondentâs rehabilitation.
Finally, the Court ordered that Prisock pay the costs of the cause.
Prisock may apply for reinstatement, but he must carry the burden of proof of clear and
convincing evidence that his reinstatement will not be detrimental to the integrity and standing of
the Bar, or the administration of justice or be subversive to the public interest.
