CROCKETT COUNTY LAWYER SUSPENDED

By Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court entered October 18, 2012, Mr. Shannon Jones was suspended
from the practice of law for three (3) years, effective October 28, 2012.

In December of 2011, the Supreme Court of Tennessee ordered the immediate suspension of Mr. Jones
from the practice of law pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule, Section 14, based upon charges involving
conspiracy to manufacture and possess methamphetamine with the intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C.
§ 846. A Petition for Final Discipline was filed on January 10, 2012. Mr. Jones was sentenced to serve six (6)
months in federal prison followed by three (3) years of supervised release. Mr. Jones shall remain compliant
with the terms and requirements related to his Tennessee Lawyer’s Assistance Program (“TLAP”) monitoring
agreement, which will coincide with the length of the suspension.

Mr. Jones violated Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(a), (b), and (c), Misconduct.

Mr. Jones must comply with Sections 18 and 19 of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, regarding the
obligations and responsibilities of suspended attorneys.
