Public censure on May 24, 1989. He represented a client in a divorce action, filed for the
divorce in April 1985 and the hearing was held October 1, 1985. On November 5, 1985, Jones'
former client filed a petition for contempt and to increase child support. Jones then began
representation adverse to his former client by filing an answer to the petition and arguing the
case against his former client in a May 1987 hearing.
