PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was filed against Charles Gammons Wright, Jr., #000915, an attorney
licensed to practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup.
Ct. R. 9, the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on
December 8, 2023.
Mr. Wright agreed to represent his client in pursuing a civil claim. Mr. Wright delayed in
taking action in this matter and failed to pursue his clientâs legal objectives. Additionally, Mr.
Wright failed to communicate with his client throughout the representation.
By these acts, Mr. Wright has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3 (diligence), 1.4
(communication), 3.2 (expediting litigation), and 8.4(d) (conduct prejudicial to the administration
of justice) and is hereby Publicly Censured for these violations.
