BRENTWOOD LAWYER DISBARRED
On March 9, 2009, William G. Weaver, III, of Brentwood, Tennessee, was disbarred by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court.
William Weaver delivered to the Board of Professional Responsibility an affidavit consenting to
disbarment because he could not successfully defend himself on charges filed against him with the Board
alleging that Mr. Weaver had mishandled other funds. On March 9, 2009, the Supreme Court entered an Order
disbarring Mr. Weaver.
William Weaver must comply with the requirements of Section 19 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme
Court, should he seek reinstatement of his Tennessee law license and may not resume the practice of law until
reinstated by further Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Weaver must further comply with Section 18 of
Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys.
