ORDER TRANSFERRING ATTORNEY TO
DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
This matter is before the Court upon a petition filed by attorney Willis B. Jackson,
Jr., to transfer to disability inactive status pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.4.
Upon due consideration of documentation from Mr. Jacksonâs medical care
provider, the Court concludes that Willis B. Jackson, Jr., is currently incapacitated from
continuing the practice of law and defending against disciplinary proceedings.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED,
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:
ORDERED,
ADJUDGED
AND
1.
The law license of Willis B. Jackson, Jr., shall be transferred to disability
inactive status for an indefinite period of time and until further orders of the Supreme
Court.
2.
The Petition for Discipline proceedings, Docket No. 2015-2512-2-AW, are
suspended indefinitely until such time as Mr. Jackson is removed from disability inactive
status.
3.
Mr. Jackson shall be allowed to petition for reinstatement to active status
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7.
4.
The Board shall publish notice of this transfer pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, §§ 27.5 and 28.11.
5.
Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 32.4, documents other than this Order
relating to Mr. Jacksonâs disability proceeding shall not be public records and shall be
kept confidential.
