ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This matter is before the Court, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 30.4(c), upon a
Petition for Reinstatement filed on June 18, 2019, by the Petitioner, Ted Austin
Burkhalter, Jr. Mr. Burkhalter was suspended from the practice of law by Order of this
Court on June 19, 2018, for a period of one (1) year. A Notice of Submission was filed
by the Chief Disciplinary Counsel indicating that the petition is satisfactory to the Board
and that Mr. Burkhalter has satisfied all conditions set forth in the Order imposing
discipline and that he is eligible for reinstatement.
From all of which the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE,
DECREED BY THE COURT:
CONSIDERED,
ORDERED,
ADJUDGED
AND
1.
The Petitioner, Ted Austin Burkhalter, Jr., is hereby reinstated to the
practice of law in the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 30.4(c).
2.
Mr. Burkhalter shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein
within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for which execution may issue if
necessary.
3.
The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
