ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This matter is before the Court, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7, upon a
Petition for Reinstatement to Active Status filed on January 8, 2016, by the Petitioner, Ira
J. Katzman. Mr. Katzman's law license was moved to disability inactive status by Order
of this Court on February 2, 2015. The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a
Response to Mr. Katzman's Petition for Reinstatement to Active Status which
recommends that Mr. Katzman's Petition be granted and his license to practice law be
reinstated.
From all of which the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND
DECREED BY THE COURT:
1. The Petitioner, Ira J. Katzman, is hereby reinstated to the practice of law in
the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,§ 27.7(b).
2. Mr. Katzman shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein
within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for all of which execution may issue if
necessary.
3. The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,§ 28.11.
