FORMER MEMPHIS ATTORNEY DISBARRED

On June 27, 2006, the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered an Order disbarring
attorney Vaughan Eugene Reid.

On November 29, 2004, the Supreme Court of Tennessee ordered the temporary
suspension of Reid from the practice of law, based upon Reid’s failure to answer a complaint of
misconduct and thereby posing a substantial threat of irreparable harm to the public.

On March 23, 2005, the Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for
Discipline against Reid. Reid failed to respond to the Petition for Discipline.

On September 21, 2005, the Board of Professional Responsibility filed a
Supplemental Petition for Discipline against Reid. Reid failed to respond to this Supplemental
Petition for Discipline.

On December 16, 2005, a Hearing Panel hearing the charges against Reid
recommended Reid be disbarred. Mr. Reid did not appeal the Findings and Recommendations of
the Hearing Panel.

On June 27, 2006, the Supreme Court entered an Order disbarring Mr. Reid.

Reid’s disciplinary case was held pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 8 and 9. In
Tennessee, disbarred lawyers may after five (5) years apply for reinstatement of their law
licenses. To be reinstated, Reid must show by clear and convincing evidence that his
reinstatement will not be detrimental to the integrity and standing of the bar or the administration
of justice or subversive to the public interest.
