NASHVILLE LAWYER TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

On July 25, 2008, the Supreme Court of Tennessee issued an Order summarily and temporarily
suspending Harry Todd Hammons’ license to practice law upon finding that Mr. Hammons has failed to
substantially comply with his Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Monitoring Agreement. Section 4.3 of Supreme
Court Rule 9 provides for the immediate summary suspension of an attorney’s license to practice law in cases of
an attorney’s failure to substantially comply with their Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Monitoring Agreement.
Disciplinary Counsel filed a petition with the Supreme Court alleging that Mr. Hammons had failed to
substantially comply with his Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Program Monitoring Agreement.

The July 25, 2008 Order precludes Mr. Hammons from accepting any new cases effective July 25, 2008.
Mr. Hammons must cease representing existing clients effective August 25, 2008. After August 25, 2008, Mr.
Hammons shall not use any indicia of lawyer, legal assistant, or law clerk nor maintain a presence where the
practice of law is conducted.

The Order requires Mr. Hammons to notify by registered or certified mail all clients being represented in
pending matters, as well as co-counsel and opposing counsel of the Supreme Court’s Order suspending his law
license. Section 18 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, requires Mr. Hammons to deliver to all clients any
papers or property to which they are entitled.

This suspension remains in effect until dissolution or modification by the Supreme Court. Mr. Hammons
may for good cause request dissolution or modification of the suspension by petition to the Supreme Court.
