PUBLIC CENSURE
The above complaint was ï¬led against Robert Paul Sâtames, an attorney licensed to practice
law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts ofmisconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, the Board
of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on September 9, 2016.
Mr. Staxnes repeatedly exposed himselfto an employee at the ofï¬ce over the course of
three years. In Apn'l 2016, Mr. Stames pleaded no contest to indecent exposure (Class B
misdemeanor) for his conduct.
By the aforementioned acts, Mr. Stames is in Violation of Rule 8.4 (b) (criminal conduct
, that reï¬ects adversely on ï¬tness to practice) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and is hereby
publicly censured for this Violation.
