DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
This matter is before the Court upon the Petition for Transfer to Disability Inactive
Status ï¬led by the Board of Professional Responsibility, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,â
§ 21.2.

Upon. due. consideration of medical documentation submitted by Stephen W.
Clark, M.D., the Court concludes that Jean Norris Crowe is currently incapacitated from
continuing the practice of law.
[t is, therefore, ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that:
1.
The law license of Jean Norris Crowe shall be transferred to disability
inactive status for an indeï¬nite period of time and until further orders of the Supreme
Court. V
2.
Ms. Crowe shall be allowed to petition for reinstatement to active status
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 21.6.
3.
The Board shall publish notice of this transfer pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, §§ 21.4 and 21.5.
4.
.lâursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 25.2y documents other than this Order
relating to Ms. Croweâs disability proceeding shall not be public record and-shall be kept
conï¬dential.
