ATTORNEY SUSPENDED
On February 12, 2008, the Tennessee Supreme Court temporarily suspended the law license of Glenn
Erikson, pursuant to Section 14 of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9. The Board of Professional Responsibility
petitioned the Court to suspend Eriksonâs law license in light of Eriksonâs plea of guilty to one count of Wire
Fraud Affecting a Financial Institution in violation of 18 USC §1343.
The Supreme Court further ordered the Board of Professional Responsibility to institute a formal
proceeding to determine the extent of final discipline to be imposed as a result of the conviction. Mr. Erikson
was ordered to fully comply with the provisions of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 18, which require,
in part, the notification of all clients by registered or certified mail, all co-counsel, all opposing counsel and
opposing parties without counsel of the Supreme Courtâs order suspending him. Section 18 also requires
Erikson to deliver to all clients any papers or property to which they are entitled.
This suspension shall remain in effect until it is dissolved or amended by order of the Supreme Court of
Tennessee.
