CLEVELAND LAWYER CENSURED
Edmund Lee Baugh, Jr., a Cleveland attorney, received a Public Censure from
the Board of Professional Responsibility on May 3, 2006. Mr. Baugh engaged in the
practice of law during a period after his license to practice law was administratively
suspended on September 27, 2005, for failing to comply with continuing legal education
requirements. Mr. Baughâs accepting representation of a client while on administrative
suspension violated Rule of Professional Conduct 5.5(a).
A Public Censure is a form of public discipline that declares the conduct of the
lawyer improper but does not limit the lawyerâs right to practice.
