Public censure on August 22, 2000. He engaged in targeted mail advertising to prospective
clients in criminal matters without ensuring that the first sentence read, "[i]f you have already
hired or retained a lawyer for this matter, please disregard this letter." In addition, he did not
respond timely to the Board's complaint.
