KNOXVILLE LAWYER SUSPENDED
On July 15, 2008, Thomas F. Mabry of Knoxville, Tennessee, was suspended by the Tennessee Supreme
Court for eleven (11) months and twenty nine (29) days with credit for sixty (60) days between December 1,
2007, and January 21, 2008, that Mabry did not practice law and probation for the remainder of Mabryâs
suspension, conditioned upon Mabryâs compliance with the following conditions:
a) foregoing any and all efforts to collect unpaid legal fees from the Complainant;
b) releasing the Complainant from all liability and voluntarily dismissing Mabryâs attorneyâs lien;
c) completing six (6) hours of Continuing Legal Education and Ethics and Professionalism, in

d) refraining from engaging in conduct in further violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Should Mabry fail to comply with any of the conditions of his probation, Mabry shall remain suspended
indefinitely until Mabry submits to the Board an affidavit evidencing compliance with the conditions of his

client matters, failing to adequately communicate with clients and, in one instance, improperly communicating
