CHATTANOOGA LAWYER CENSURED
Jeffrey Andrew Stinnett, a Chattanooga attorney, received a Public Censure from the
Board of Professional Responsibility on April 19, 2005. Mr. Stinnett engaged in the practice of
law during a period after his license to practice law was administratively suspended on
September 24, 2003, for failing to comply with continuing legal education requirements. Mr.
Stinnett's accepting representation of a client while on administrative suspension violated Rule of
Professional Conduct 5.5(a).
A Public Censure is a form of public discipline which declares the conduct of the lawyer
improper but does not limit the lawyer's right to practice.
