1986. He was convicted in Federal Court of violating Title 18, Section 371, U.S.C.A. Said
conviction related to an FBI investigation in Claiborne County regarding illegal gambling that
ultimately led to the conviction of the Claiborne County sheriff. Rose pled guilty to this offense.
