Public censure on October 23, 1985. He failed to timely file a brief with the Court of Criminal
Appeals on behalf of his client. The Court of Criminal Appeals suspended his right to practice
before it for 9 months predicated on its having found Cate in contempt on two previous
occasions for similar conduct and having admonished him against repetition of such misconduct.
He also did not respond to the Board's notices of the complaint.
