KNOX COUNTY LAWYER SUSPENDED

Effective October 7, 2024, the Supreme Court of Tennessee suspended Loring Edwin Justice from the
practice of law for one (1) year active suspension pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 12.2.
While representing a client in a Workers’ Compensation matter, Mr. Justice failed to communicate
reasonably with his client and failed to act diligently to provide the legal services for which he was retained.

Mr. Justice’s conduct violated Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3 (diligence) and 1.4
(communication).

Mr. Justice must comply with the requirements of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Sections 28 and 30.4,
regarding the obligations and responsibilities of suspended attorneys and the procedure for reinstatement.
