DAVIDSON COUNTY LAWYER DISBARRED

On February 4, 2021, the Supreme Court of Tennessee permanently disbarred Judson Wheeler Phillips
from the practice of law. Mr. Phillips must pay the court costs within ninety days of the entry of the Order of
Enforcement.

Mr. Phillips consented to permanent disbarment because he could not successfully defend himself on
charges alleged in pending disciplinary complaints. Pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Mr. Phillips
is not eligible for reinstatement to the practice of law in this state. Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 23,
requires Mr. Phillips’ consent to disbarment be maintained under seal.

Mr. Phillips must comply with the requirements of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Sections 28
regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys.
