KNOXVILLE LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT
Keith A. Pope, a Knoxville attorney, has been reinstated to the practice of law by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court entered March 9, 2011. Mr. Pope was temporarily suspended from the practice of
law by Order of the Supreme Court on January 31, 2011, for noncompliance with his Tennessee Lawyersâ
Assistance Program (TLAP) Monitoring Agreement. Mr. Pope filed a Motion to Dismiss Petition for
Temporary Suspension. On March 4, 2011, a Hearing Panel entered a recommendation that the temporary
suspension be dissolved with the following conditions: (1) Mr. Pope shall submit to hair tests at least every two
(2) months; and (2) Mr. Pope shall continue counseling in addition to the requirements of Mr. Popeâs current
TLAP monitoring contract. The temporary suspension was dissolved subject to the above conditions pursuant
to the Supreme Courtâs Order of March 9, 2011.
