CLARKSVILLE ATTORNEY CENSURED
On March 7, 2005, Christine Zellar Church, of Clarksville, Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility. Church was given
notice of this censure and did not request a hearing. The Board censured Church for making
unclear statements and failing to clarify facts to the Complainantâs current employer regarding
whether the Complainant had been fired by her two previous employers. Churchâs actions
violate Rule 8.4(c) of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct and for these
violations the Board censures Church. The censure declares Churchâs actions to be
improper but does not limit her right to practice law.
